Navigate to the "Timesheets" module
- To approve/disapprove timesheets, navigate to the "Timesheets" module, and choose the option "Approval".
Check which weeks to review.
- On the calendar on the right side of the timesheet grid check the weeks marked as “To Review”.
- Look at the legend below for the colour code.
- To navigate to the desired week, click on one of the days of that particular week.
- The system will automatically show you the list of hours you need to approve, organized by user.
Approve time.
- To approve specific hours click on top of the cells you want to approve and then select the option " Approve".
- To approve all hours of a particular user, click on the
button next to the user's name.
- To approve all hours for all users, click on the
button on the Timesheets Approval menu bar.
- Verify that you can filter the entries to approve by user, client or by Project/Job/Product/Brand/Work Type.
- Verify that the approved cells change colour according to the legend just above the timesheet grid.
- Verify that the indicators on the right change as you approve time.
Disapprove time.
- To disapprove specific hours click once on the cells you want to disapprove and then click on the option that says "Reject".
- To disapprove all hours of a particular user, click on the
button next to the user's name.
- To disapprove all hours for all users, click on the
button on the Timesheets Approval menu bar.
- Verify that you can filter the entries to disapprove by user, client or by Project/Job/Product/Brand/Work Type.
- Verify that the disapproved cells change colour according to the legend just above the timesheet grid.
- Verify that the indicators on the right change as you disapprove time.
Provide a rejection motive.
- You can provide the user with a motive for rejecting his hours.
Revise rejected hours.
- When a supervisor rejects some hours, the user will be notified that he needs to revise the hours and to submit his timesheet again.
- Verify that the users receives a notification and a rejection motive.
